In Telavi, right there, where the institute of Viticulture and Winemaking was founded a century ago, now the grape are harvested for the premium wine of Wine Kakheti. In front of the ancient building, on the old collection plots, there is ripening the high-quality Rkatsiteli and Saferavi. The VIVI owns approximately 30 ha of land there.

In the microzone of Mukuzani, specifically in the villages of Vachnadziani and Kalauri, the vine of the Saferavi veriety is planted. From the grapes harvested on more than 53 ha of land we produce the premium quality wine.

In the Akhmeta Microzone, near the Alaverdy, there are plantings of Mtsvane, Saferavi, Rkatsiteli, Kisi, and Khikhvi. In this zone, the Kakhuri Mtsvane gives an exceptionally high-quality harvest. Up to 60 hectares of land are used for harvesting in Akhmeta.
